The Fog City Singers, San Francisco's newest men's chorus, sings out the summer with a concert of barbershop music from its roots in the 1800s through its evolution to the modern day. We hope you'll join us in The City for this fun, mid-week musical evening!
The program will include influencing genres such as spirituals, Southern Harmony, and jazz, as well as barbershop standards, modern contestable barbershop selections, and two original FCS arrangements—including a gorgeous new setting of "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" arranged by our founding president, Mike Louque.
The roster will include 10 new members who have joined since the spring set, 8 of whom have never formally sung barbershop before. We're excited for their stylistic debut! The complete list of singers will be:
